Bishop Hoch scholarship awards made to diocesan students

The Diocese of Sioux Falls awards one $1,000 college scholarships per deanery for a total of $7,000 per year to enable a student to attend either Mount Marty College in Yankton or Presentation College in Aberdeen.
The scholarships are available to new students, students already in college and non-traditional students interested in attending or already attending Mount Marty College and Presentation Colleges.
This year’s recipients, their home parish and the college they have chosen are listed:
Aberdeen/Mobridge Deanery: Keely Geffre, Sacred Heart Parish, Westport, Presentation College.
Kennedy Kappes, St. Joseph Parish, Eureka, Presentation College.
Madison/Brookings Deanery: Lindsey Miller, St. Paul Parish, Iroquois, Mount Marty College.
Mitchell Deanery: Tessa Carda, St. Paul Parish, Armour, Mount Marty College.
Sioux Falls Deanery: Samantha Boese, St. Mary Parish, Sioux Falls, Presentation College
Pierre-Huron Deanery: Jill Jandreau, St. Margaret Parish, Kimball, Mount Marty College.
Yankton Deanery: Caitlyn Oien, Sacred Heart Parish, Yankton, Mount Marty College.
