A special triduum of Masses this Carmel Month

July 14-16 – A special triduum of Masses is planned this year at the Carmelite Monastery in Alexandria to thank Our Lady for her gift of the Brown Scapular. Each evening, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be preceded by the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. We also pray this month for the cause of canonization of Mary of St. Peter, whose writings and devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus have touched the hearts of millions. The monthly holy hour will be held the following Sunday, July 26, at 3:15 p.m. The holy hour will begin with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by the Rosary, reading from the Manual of the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face, the chaplet and other prayers to the Holy Face, and Benediction.
