The Bridegroom is waiting for you

All are welcome to attend a holy hour in honor of the Holy Face of Jesus at the Carmelite Monastery in Alexandria (221 5th St.) at 3:15 p.m. The holy hour will begin with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by the Rosary, reading from the Manual of the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face, the chaplet and other prayers to the Holy Face, and Benediction. This Holy Face holy hour will take place on the fourth Sunday of every month, unless otherwise noted. For those who may have missed the Holy Face relic visiting the Carmel last November, the oldest known relic to have touched Veronica’s veil in Rome will be returning July 14-16 during a triduum in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
