Job opening at St. Mary Dell Rapids

St. Mary Parish in Dell Rapids is seeking a new director of faith formation and family discipleship. This position will oversee and coordinate our Faith Formation Program and work to build a culture of prayer, discipleship, and service with those families who participate in our Faith Formation Program.

The 51st Annual South Dakota Right to Life Convention will be held September 30 through October 1 in Rapid City. Registration and more information can be found at sdRightToLife.org
The Sioux Falls Area Life Chain will be held on Sunday, October 2, from 2-3 p.m. It will span from S. Kiwanis Ave. to S. Sertoma Ave. along the north sidewalk of W. 41st St. The annual National Life Chain is a peaceful, prayerful, public witness standing in solidarity for the defense of life from conception to natural death. Life Chain signs can be picked up at Sioux Falls First Church (6300 W. 41st St.) or O’Gorman parking lots. Supervised children are welcome. Bring a lawn chair if you can’t stand for an hour. A Sioux Falls Area Right to Life Fundraiser will be held Monday, October 10 from 5-8 p.m. at Pizza Ranch, 2717 W 41st Street in Sioux Falls. The Catholic Community Foundation for Eastern South Dakota is pleased to continue to provide grants to serve the spiritual, educational, health, and social needs of the people served by the Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls. We encourage you to consider if there is a new program or ministry in your parish or school that needs seed money and submit an application for a grant to get it started.
