Awake My Soul Revival Event

AWAKE MY SOUL REVIVAL EVENT, NEW ULM, MN

You are invited to the Awake My Soul Revival Event on Saturday, August 3, from 6-10 p.m. at the New Ulm Civic Center in New Ulm, Minnesota. This significant evangelization event will bring the energy from the National Eucharistic Revival Congress back to Minnesota and ignite the third year of the Eucharistic Revival – the Year of Going Out on Mission! The evening will feature nationally known speaker Jeff Cavins and musician Matt Maher. There will be opportunities for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Reconciliation, praise, testimony and fellowship. Before the event, Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. by New Ulm’s bishop, the Most Rev. Chad Zielinski, at the Church of St. Mary in New Ulm.

Fiat Dinner for women discerning God’s call

Do you know a young woman discerning God’s call in her life? The Sioux Falls women’s discernment group, Ecce Ancilla Domini, is hosting a Fiat Dinner for young women seeking God’s call. The dinner will be held on Sunday, May 5 from 4-8 p.m. at the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery (707 W 4th St.) in Sioux Falls. Eucharistic Miracles display at St. Lambert

St. Lambert Parish in Sioux Falls is hosting a Eucharistic Miracles Display on Saturday, January 27 beginning at 2 p.m. and Sunday, January 28 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Below is a tentative itinerary for the event.

Saturday, January 27
2 p.m. – Exhibit opens
3:15 p.m. – Earl Markley will give a short presentation
4:30-5:30 p.m. – Mass
5:30-??? p.m. – Exhibit
Sunday, January 28
8:30-9:30 a.m. – Mass
9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. – Exhibit will be open
9:45 a.m. – Earl Markley will give a short presentation
10 a.m. – Mass
2 p.m. – Exhibit Closes

 

Childcare will be provided for one hour after each Mass. Catechesis during childcare will focus on Candlemas.

Eucharistic presentation in Luverne

Join us on February 7 at 7 p.m. at St. Catherine Church in Luverne, Minnesota, for a Eucharistic Presentation by Father Leo Patalinghug. Fr. Leo is an author/speaker, creator and founder of an international food and faith movement called Plating Grace. He is a host for radio, podcast and a weekly international food and faith show on EWTN, “Savoring our Faith.” The mission to see food as a gift from God to nourish your family and to strengthen relationships is making this world a better place one meal at a time. All are welcome from 6th grade through adults. We would love for you to join us.

Sioux Falls LIFE CHAIN

The Sioux Falls LIFE CHAIN will be held Sunday, October 1, from 2-3 p.m. on the north sidewalk of W. 41st St. between Western and Sertoma Ave.

Life Chain occurs across the USA and Canada annually on the first Sunday of October. It is a unified statement affirming the sanctity of human life and makes a public, prayerful, and peaceful witness against legalized abortion and exploitation of mothers. Life Chain is held rain or shine.

Signs will be provided and may be picked up at and returned to the parking lots of Sioux Falls First Church or O’Gorman High School.

Water, lawn chairs, umbrellas, wheelchairs and strollers are welcome and encouraged. Roosevelt High School, O’Gorman High School and Sioux Falls First Church will have parking. Do not park in front of any open businesses.

Churches have assigned blocks, but individuals who would like to participate should call 605-743-0777, email righttolifesf@gmail.com or come by 1:30 p.m. to receive directions.

Brothers in Christ 200-Man Retreat

The Brothers in Christ 200-Man Retreat, promoting Christian brotherhood through local men’s groups, is Saturday, September 30 at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Sioux Falls. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with the retreat beginning at 8 a.m. sharp. Father Scott Traynor will be the speaker. There will be a Pizza Ranch lunch and social at noon.
