What a full and joyful week it’s been!
We kicked things off with Discipleship Camp, helped out at a beautiful Special Needs Retreat, took time for our own Days of Recollection, and wrapped it all up with a Confirmation Retreat. It was a packed week but God’s grace showed up in abundance every step of the way.
Discipleship Camp was such a gift! It’s an amazing opportunity for the youth in our diocese, and witnessing the friendships formed and the deep desire in these young hearts to grow closer to Christ was truly inspiring. In small groups, prayer teams, and everyday conversations, we heard powerful reflections on how we can become more Christ-centered as individuals and communities. We all left filled with hope for what God has in store for these campers.
The Special Needs Retreat was another highlight—a beautiful reminder that every person is a beloved child of God. I’m so grateful to have taken part in such a life-giving ministry.
This week, the Lord really stretched me, especially at the start of Discipleship Camp when small groups felt tough and the pace was exhausting. But through it all, he taught me patience and surrender: to trust his plan, not mine. And seeing the transformation in the campers from beginning to end made every challenge worth it.
Another grace-filled week at Lumen Christi. Thank you for your continued prayers and support!
