D-Camp 2026 registration NOW OPEN!
D-Camp (Discipleship Camp) is our Diocesan summer youth camp. Junior High and High School youth come together for four days of faith and fun. During the day you will hear talks to help you grow in your faith, bond with a small group of other teens, compete in all-camp Olympic games, have the chance to go to Mass, Confession, and Adoration, and meet lots of new friends!
A parent or legal guardian must register their own child for camp. Youth ministers, parish staff, family members or friends may not register on the parent’s behalf. If you would like to pay for someone else’s camp registration, please contact our office to make arrangements (discipleship@sfcatholic.org).
Registration is first-come, first-served. A waiting list will open when tickets have sold out.

FAQ
What is the cost?
Regular Price: $350, Early Bird: $300 (ends Jan. 31)
Are there scholarships?
If you need financial assistance, we recommend you first speak with your parish youth leader or pastor. Often your parish is happy to help.
There are also some scholarship opportunities available through the generosity of donors. If you are in need of a scholarship for camp, you can find the application on our scholarship page.
For those who are receiving financial assistance, we are able to cater the online registration process to fit your needs (create discount codes to register, etc.). Please contact the office at discipleship@sfcatholic.org for assistance.
What is the cancelation/refund policy?
Registration fees are non-refundable. If an unforeseen conflict arises and a camper is no longer able to attend, please contact our office as soon as possible. If we are able to secure a replacement from our waitlist, a refund may be given.
What if my child can’t be there for all of camp?
It is important that campers are present throughout the entire camp. A partial absence effects not only your child’s experience, but also the experience of the other campers in his or her small group.
Where is the camp located?
D-Camp is held at the Broom Tree Youth and Family Camp. The address is 120 Saint Michael Drive, Irene, SD 57037.
How does my child get to Broom Tree?
It is each parent’s responsibility to arrange transportation for their child to and from camp.
What time is drop-of and pick-up?
Check-in starts at 4:00 PM on the first day of camp, and check-out starts at 3:00 PM on the last day of camp.
What should my child bring to camp?
Your child will need the following items: appropriate clothes, toiletries, bedding, a journal and a Bible. A detailed packing list will be emailed to parents.
Can my child bring his/her cell phone?
It is important to enter into camp without unnecessary distractions, therefore, all phones must be powered off and remain in the camper’s bag for the duration of camp. If a phone becomes a distraction, staff will keep it in the office until the end of camp. Parents can always reach the camp director in case of emergency.
